Lunch & Learn: Accelerating Digital Equity Initiative

Please join us to learn about DPS Foundation’s Accelerating Digital Equity Initiative to strengthen Durham for the Future.  Duke University is the lead donor in this $1.5M campaign to fund computers, learning centers, digital equity, and teacher training for Durham Public Schools.

Without significant community investment, young students could lose as much as an entire school years’ worth of learning. The consequences of this learning loss will harm our students and the economic well-being of our entire community for decades to come, but they are not inevitable. 

We hope you will join us - a group of your colleagues who are also Durham Public School parents – along with Stelfanie Williams, Duke Vice President for Durham Affairs, and Magan Gonzales-Smith, Executive Director, Durham Public Schools Foundation, for a short presentation to learn about Digital Equity as schools reopen. We’ll answer questions and provide ways for you to help your community.
