The Office for Institutional Equity strives to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment where staff, students, and faculty thrive and community is valued at Duke. We offer recurring workshops, tailored sessions for units or individuals with specific educational needs, and curated educational resources and materials.
Workshop Series
We offer a series of workshops designed to provide education and support on key issues related to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, as well as Duke regulations concerning discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and equal opportunity. Registration is required for each session.
Educational Topics
Our educational topics are designed to help build and maintain an inclusive and welcoming environment at Duke. The instructional themes are intended to raise understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion issues while also deepening engagement with and between individuals throughout the Duke community.
