JFAM, the Jewish First-Year Advisory Mentorship Program Don't miss the Welcome BBQ & JFAM Kickoff! As a first-year student, you'll be paired with two upperclass mentors and a JFAMily of fellow first-years to help guide your transition to Duke, serve as a resource, and attend JLD events together. You'll be paired with your JFAM "Parent" Mentor and receive your exclusive JFAM swag at the Welcome BBQ & JFAM Kickoff.  Psst... did you know that you are automatically a member of the Jewish Student Union (JSU)? Look out for more JSU events throughout the year. Welcome BBQ & JFAM Kickoff Sunday, August 24 from 5:00 - 7:00pm @ Freeman Center for Jewish Life One of the first big celebrations of the year! Chow down on a kosher BBQ feast, meet your JFAMily in person, get to know fellow Class of 2029 and upperclass students, and learn how to get involved with Jewish student organizations. No RSVP needed! All are welcome!
