Social Identity

Speaker

Genevieve Barnes, M.S. M.A. Assistant Director for Education and Outreach

This interactive session invites participants to explore the relationship between social identity, group dynamics, and belonging in the workplace. Through reflection, discussion, and practical activities, participants will examine how assumptions and incomplete narratives show up in everyday interactions, explore the layers of identity that often go unseen, and connect those insights to Duke's core values. Whether you're just beginning to explore these concepts or looking to go deeper, this session offers a space to reflect, engage, and leave with a personal commitment to action. Facilitated by: Genevieve Barnes, M.S. M.A. Assistant Director for Education and Outreach Thursday, July 9, 2026 | 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM | REGISTER HERE (Zoom)
