Flower Portraits

Practice drawing from life in the Gardens with Julia Einstein, the 2023 Artist in Residence at Raleigh City Farm, as you stand eye to eye with a plant to capture its essence on paper. You'll be guided to make botanical sketches and natural gesture drawings in miniature and on a large scale using a variety of drawing tools to bring home an artful set of field studies that can transform a wall into a garden. Julia creates a welcoming, inclusive environment for artists of all skill levels. All materials are included in the cost.
