Botany Spotlight: Ferns

Spend a summer morning in the shade learning about the life cycles, morphology, basic anatomy, ecology, taxonomy and nomenclature of native ferns with Isaac Lund, assistant horticulturist in the Blomquist Garden of Native Plants. Build your knowledge and curiosity with a brief indoor presentation that will prepare you for the outdoor portion of the program, where you'll encounter a variety of native fern species on display in the Blomquist Garden of Native Plants. This program is intended for an audience with broadly varying interest levels. Registration required.
